Overview

NAMA Women Advancement Establishment was established in 2015 under an Emiri Decree by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, and is chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah.

Nama Women Advancement Establishment aims to support and empower women and elevate their status in the present and the future, both in the emirate of Sharjah and the wider world. Nama aspires to go beyond the scope of supporting women and ensuring gender equality and push for them to become influential key members of society, enabling them to climb the ladder of success in all sectors.
Their mission is to enable access for women to rights, services, support systems and resources that advance them to reach their highest potential economically, professionally and socially.

Sharjah Business Women Council, Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council, and Badiri Education and Development Academy, fall under the umbrella of NAMA Women Advancement Establishment.
