It has worked in 160 developing and transition countries in the areas of water and natural resources management, energy and climate change, governance and public sector management, private sector development and financial services, economics and trade, agriculture and agribusiness, crisis mitigation and stability operations, HIV/AIDS and avian influenza control. In the past two years, USAID has disbursed 717 million USD to DAI Global for projects including USAID Economic Security Program in Georgia, Ukraine Economic Resilience Activity and Community Strengthening Project in Myanmar.

FHI 360 (formerly Family Health International) is a nonprofit human development organization which serves more than 70 countries and all U.S. states and territories. Established in 1971, the organization has long managed projects relating to family planning and reproductive health. In 1986, the organization began a worldwide response to HIV/AIDS. FHI’s research and programs also address malaria, tuberculosis and other infectious and chronic diseases. Some of the projects recently awarded to FHI 360 are Countering Violent Extremism in the Middle East and North Africa (CoVE-MENA), Strategic HIV/AIDS and TB Response Program (SHARP) in Nigeria and Tuberculosis Private Sector Engagement Activity in Indonesia. The organisation received more than 700 million USD from USAID in the 2018-2019 fiscal year.

Abt Associates Inc. is a global leader in research, evaluation and program implementation. The company works in the following sectors: health, education and workforce development, climate change and the environment, food security and agriculture, housing and communities and survey and data collection. The company’s work spans from Latin America and the Caribbean to Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, as well as South and Central Asia and Australia and Asia Pacific. USAID has disbursed 445 million USD to Abt Associates Inc. for projects including Efficiencies for Clinical HIV Outcomes (ECHO) in Mozambique, Feed the Future Egypt Value Added Solutions and Sustainable Financing for HIV in Vietnam.

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is the international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States. The agency provides assistance to 130 million people in more than 90 countries and territories in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. A member of Caritas International, the worldwide network of Catholic humanitarian agencies, CRS provides relief in emergency situations and helps people in the developing world to break the cycle of poverty through community-based, sustainable development initiatives as well as peace building. The agency received 440 million USD from USAID in 2018-2019.

RTI International (formerly Research Triangle Institute) is an independent, nonprofit research institute providing research and technical services. RTI research has covered topics such as healthcare, energy research, social and justice policy, food security and agriculture, education and workforce development, and the environment. The institute’s work focuses mainly on Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean and Northern America. During the fiscal year 2018-2019, USAID disbursed more than 370 million USD to RTI International. Some of the projects awarded to the institute are Power Africa and International Technical and Operational and Professional Support Services, to be implemented in multiple countries.

Jhpiego Corporation is an international, non-profit health organization affiliated with The Johns Hopkins University. In its early years, Jhpiego was recognized as an expert in reproductive health and family planning. As the organization has grown and become more field-based, its programme areas have grown and expanded. As of 2015, Jhpiego’s primary program areas are maternal, newborn and child health, family planning and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS prevention and care, infection prevention and control, malaria prevention and treatment, cervical cancer prevention and treatment, tuberculosis (TB), urban and community health, education and training, and innovations. Jhpiego currently works in 36 countries throughout Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. In the past two years, the organization has received more than 250 million USD from USAID for projects including HIV Service Delivery Support Activity in Kenya.

ARD, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tetra Tech, a leading provider of consulting, engineering and technical services worldwide. The company provides consulting, engineering, program management and construction management services in the areas of water, environment, infrastructure, resource management, energy and international development. Specific services for consulting and engineering projects include applied science, information technology, engineering, design, construction management and operations and maintenance. Tetra Tech implements projects mainly in Africa and Asia with the Afghanistan Engineering Support Program being one of the latest projects. Overall, in 2018-2019, USAID awarded almost 250 million USD to the company.

Palladium International, LLC (also known as The Palladium Group, Palladium Holdings or Palladium International) is an international consulting organization, operating in more than 90 countries around the world. The main regions where the company focuses its work are Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean and Asia. Its areas of expertise include education and workforce development, environment, governance, law and justice, health, inclusive growth and innovative finance. In the past two years, Palladium has been awarded projects including Integrated Health Systems, Kenya Investment Mechanism and Creating Economic Opportunities in Guatemala. It has received just over 200 million USD from USAID.

Creative Associates International is a consultancy that specializes in international development in the areas of education, democratic transitions and stabilization in post-conflict environments. Its areas of expertise include capacity development, digital development, education, gender and social inclusion, governance, political transitions, workforce and youth. The firm has a field presence in more than 20 countries worldwide with a focus on Africa and Asia. The most recent project awarded is the Mali Peacebuilding, Stabilization, and Reconciliation Project. In the fiscal year 2018-2019, the company received just over 200 million USD from USAID.
