Palestinian Institute for Human Rights

Overview

The Palestinian Institute for Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territory was established on 11.04.2011 as a non-governmental independent organization working on human rights
education, establishing the principles of democracy, justice and the dissemination and promotion of a culture of human rights among the various sectors of Palestinian society as stipulated in local,
regional and international conventions. It also aims at supporting tools used to monitor human rights violations and providing the needed protection through invoking protection mechanisms and the activation of human rights work at the international level, especially among the various United Nations bodies and relevant international organizations.
