Nehal Omran

Ms. Omran is a researcher, trainer and activist in the fields of Women's Human Rights, Gender Equality and Rights-Based Community Development with 15 years of experience. She hold a Joint Master of Excellence in Women and Gender Studies, University of Hull, UK and University of Lodz, Poland. Her passion is for women advancement, gender education, mainstreaming and programming with special focus and experience with gender-based violence and political participation of women.

She has worked with Care International as Learning Specialist. During this assignment, her most noteworthy responsibilities included Monitoring and Evaluation, Lessons Learned Assessment, designing M&E reports, and assigning indicators for implementation and impact. Also, she managed several NGOs as a executive manager, a program manager and a capacity building manager.

She has designed and delivered training sessions on gender equality, programming and managing development projects, advocacy campaigns and gender based violence and masculinity. With experience working with grass-root, national and international organizations, she works effectively within local as well as multinational and multicultural teams and environments.
