Al Alfi Foundation for Human and Social Development
Al Alfi Foundation for Human and Social Development
Overview
An independent philanthropic foundation established in 2008 focuses on human and social development through education and capacity building for Egyptian scientists, educators and gifted students in STEM education in Egypt. We aim to build a knowledge-based economy and empower Egyptian youth for a sustainable future.
Al Alfi Foundation is at the forefront of local and regional initiatives that aim to close the skills and opportunity gaps. The Foundation invests in innovative programs aimed at driving greater equity and enhancing readiness in a world where the pace of change is dizzying. Egyptian youth have the right to a sustainable future and the only way we can possibly guarantee this is by eliminating inequalities and making sure all youth have access to the tools they need to create their own opportunities and advocate for their own futures. This is the goal we use when we design projects and interventions.
