Psychological Health Awareness Society in Egypt (PHASE)
Overview
PHASE was founded in 2006 with a vision to deliver the optimum psychosocial and mental health services to all individuals in need, all over Egypt, and to improve psychological health in Egyptian society to offer psychological treatment to help abused and traumatized women, children and men who would otherwise be unable to pay for their much needed treatment. PHASE started programs to treat women who have been physically or emotionally assaulted during demonstrations. In addition they also treat Middle Eastern Refugees who have fled to Egypt to escape from their war torn countries.
