I have more than 15 years’ experience in strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, project evaluation, and performance and information management in public, private and international organizations. I am currently the senior advisor for the Supreme Council for Planning in Muscat, Oman, to establish and institutionalize the M&E function for National Strategic Plans and Mega Projects. Also, I am supervising the efforts to set up the M&E system and framework, and build the institutional and individual capacities in a multi-stakeholder environment. I joined the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC-Jordan’s account) for about 4-years as the Monitoring and Evaluation Director, through which I had the opportunity to lead the overall M&E strategy development and implementation, measure program performance, and report results periodically, in addition, to contribute to the impact evaluation efforts.

For Jordan’s government, I worked 4-years for the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology in the position of Head of Strategic Planning, and about 2-years for the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in the position of acting head of Competitiveness and Senior Researcher, through which I was involved in establishing the National Competitiveness Observatory, duties included industries’ competitiveness assessment and development of M&E function of the national economy and key industries.

Besides MCC, exposure to international organizations was valid through working for the Overseas for Sustainable Development firm (OSD)/ World Bank fund for Iraq as project management specialist, and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as a project coordinator for 3-years.
I am co-founder and a board member of Jordan Development Evaluation Association (EvalJordan). I am Certified Manager by the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM), I have passed several professional training courses in the field of strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, impact evaluation, results-based management and information leadership that were held in Singapore, Turkey, Macao, Egypt, Lebanon, Switzerland, UAE, Netherlands, Canada and USA in addition to Jordan.
