Trias Consult
Trias Consult
Overview
Trias, meaning three in Latin, aptly reflects the complexities of the world in which we work. There is no single solution to challenges in multifaceted settings. Their experience rather tells us that development requires peace and stability, that peace requires addressing the root causes of crisis, that economic growth requires an enabling environment in which the private sector can operate with an acceptable degree of risk, that the impact of natural disasters reflects the vulnerability and lack of preparedness of communities and institutions, that there is a clear and visible correlation between crisis, environmental degradation and climate change, and that local involvement and ownership is essential for sustainability.
Trias provides consultancy services in international development, humanitarian response and post-crisis recovery to the public and private sectors and civil society. Trias has particular expertise in countries and regions experiencing or emerging from natural disasters or conflict, helping to create an environment for inclusive growth, sustainable peace and development. Trias works across the development, security, diplomatic, environmental and private sector communities. They deliver comprehensive and integrated policy and strategy options, and provide fully supported programming, monitoring and evaluation services.
