Overview
UN Crisis Relief is run by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). UN Humanitarian Funds is a global fund that provides immediate rapid-response aid when disasters strike, and individual Humanitarian Funds for ongoing crises in specific countries. Each fund's primary goals include:
Supporting life-saving activities such as providing food, shelter and education
Filling critical funding gaps when humanitarian needs surpass the amount of funds available
Expanding assistance in hard-to-reach areas
They provide assistant to Sudan, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine.
