Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans
Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans
Overview
Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans was initiated by her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah in 2003. In 2006, it was institutionalized as a non-profit organization registered under the Ministry of Social Development in Jordan under the name of Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans; holding the registration number 2006011100019.
Al Aman Fund aims to provide education to the boarding orphans who have resided in orphan care centers for part of, or all of their childhood; as well as the non-boarding orphans who live in poverty with a guardian or an immediate relative and are supported by orphan support organizations.
The Fund seeks to build partnerships with charities in the provinces and villages of Jordan, those that are related to its scope of work and programs to assist orphans and their families. These associations help the Fund by conducting research on the families’ welfare in order to speed up the application process and decide on the orphans eligible to get access to the Fund’s programs
In addition, Al Aman Fund has been operating for more than 15 years, and during that Al Aman built a diversified portfolio that consists of individual donors, private and governmental sectors, and other fundraising programs such as grants and digital donations.
