APHEDA
APHEDA
Overview
Union Aid Abroad-APHEDA was established in 1984 by the Australian Council of Trade Unions as the global justice organisation of the Australian union movement. Through Union Aid Abroad, unions and union members contribute directly to countries and regions of the world where men and women workers face poverty or civil conflict or lack of equality, justice or human rights. Its approach is to support movement-building, working in partnership with local unions and community organisations.
