Bishkoreen Development Woman and Child
Overview
Bishkoreen organization for the Development of Woman and Child was established by two activist women (Wafa Ibrahim and HizratTayib). They shared the passion of supporting women specially survival of GBV, female headed households, children and vulnerable people. They have worked separately with different Local and International organizations, international companies, child magazine, and governmental department. So they established an organization that works for the development of women and children as being the most vulnerable and marginalized categories in any situation and community. They called it Bishkoreen because it means (smile) in Kurdish and they wanted to put smile on the faces of the vulnerable children and women.
