Délégation Diocésaine des Migrations (DDM)
Overview
Délégation Diocésaine des Migrations (DDM) is an entity of the Catholic Church Diocese of Tangier in Morocco, created in July 2011 to provide a coordinated response to problems related to the migratory phenomenon throughout the northern coast of Morocco: the western zone ( Tanger-Tétouan) and the eastern zone (Nador AlHoceima).
The DDM focuses its efforts on the assistance and protection of migrants in situations of vulnerability from medical, social, psychosocial, and educational care to protect their lives from the risks of all kinds of violence and facilitate their access to various psycho-sanitary, social, legal, and administrative services through the mobilization of the migrants themselves and the actors concerned, involving civil society and the various local and national structures through a holistic approach to support migrant populations.
