Development Foundation of Turkey (TKV)

Overview

Development Foundation of Turkey (TKV) is a non-profit development organization established in 1969 with the purpose of directing poor peasant households to rural and agricultural-based development under the unique conditions of Turkey. TKV was officially established in 1969, two years before its official establishment, that is, since 1967 and for more than 50 years, it has successfully carried out many studies on rural areas. TKV, which started its first work in 1967 with the first pilot trial of income-generating projects in the mountain villages of Tarsus, which, although small-scale on the basis of rural enterprises, gained volume with integrations, had the opportunity to expand their studies effectively.
