Overview
Established in 1999, the Howard G. Buffett Foundation’s mission is to catalyze transformational change to improve the standard of living and quality of life, particularly for the world’s most impoverished and marginalized populations. They use our resources to improve conditions and create change in the most difficult circumstances and geographies. They focus their grantmaking on areas where they have unique expertise; where few others are willing to work; and where They see an opportunity to catalyze transformational change. Their primary focus areas are food security, conflict mitigation and public safety.
