Initiatives pour la Protection des Droits des Femmes (IPDF)
Overview
Initiatives pour la Protection des Droits des Femmes (IPDF) is a Moroccan women's association founded in 1998, committed to achieving gender equality both in law and in practice. An autonomous and non-profit organization, IPDF is dedicated to defending women's universal rights, eliminating all forms of discrimination and violence against them, and promoting their active participation in public and economic life. The association manages the Batha multifunctional center in Fez, which supports women victims of violence—particularly those from underprivileged neighborhoods—who face obstacles such as poverty, low levels of education, limited access to essential services, and a sense of insecurity in public spaces.
