International Legal Assistance Consortium

Overview

The International Legal Assistance Consortium (ILAC) is a Swedish non-profit organization, ILAC gathers wide-ranging legal expertise and competencies from around the world to help rebuild justice systems in countries that are in conflict, post conflict, or in transition toward peace and democracy.

ILAC is a global rule of law organisation providing technical assistance to justice sector actors in fragile and conflict-affected countries. ILAC is a recipient of development funds from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), and is currently coordinating the implementation of rule of law programmes in Syria, Tunisia, Libya, in addition to regional initiatives in the Middle East.
