Overview
Kiron is a non-profit organisation, founded in 2015, whose mission is to enable access to higher education and successful learning for refugees worldwide and underserved communities in the Middle East through digital solutions. Through an innovative model of blended learning, Kiron offers free of charge, tailor-made curricula clustering Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) from renowned educational platforms so that refugees and underserved communities can start studying regardless of their asylum status. The MOOCs are combined with online and offline support such as tutorials and mentoring to guide the students in achieving their academic and professional goals.
