Overview
Founded in Amsterdam in 1983, Mama Cash is the oldest international women’s fund and one of just a few funds dedicated exclusively to advancing women’s, girls’ and trans people’s human rights globally. It gives grants to over 130 forward-thinking initiatives led by women, girls and trans people around the world annually, supporting them not only financially, but also by sharing knowledge and networking opportunities. Mama Cash supports the development of regional women’s funds around the world. It also encourage other funders to support the feminist activism of women, girls and trans people, and they learn and share results.
