Overview
MEGAWRA is an architectural hub a space for young students and architects that is also coming to the public. It is a platform for holistic debate on the field of architecture and urbanism with a focus on it as art, theory, praxis and cultural heritage and its role in promoting sustainability and social responsibility in the built environment.
MEGAWRA is operated by the Egyptian NGO, Built Environment Collective(The Built Environment Collective is an Egyptian non-profit organization that seeks to strengthen the sense of community between practitioners, academics and students of architecture and urbanism) for the benefit of:
Students and young graduates of architecture – as a resource, meeting and networking space, young group and initiatives concerned with the development of architecture and the related fields, exchange within and across the fields of architecture, construction, urban studies and art, raising the awareness of society of the critical role these fields play in their lives and opening channels for mutual communication and cooperation.
