Think and Do Foundation
Overview
Think and Do Foundation is a civil, non- profit foundation founded by Dr. Tawfik George, one of the pioneers of social work in Egypt, in June 2005 to address one of the biggest problems facing Egyptian youth which is the problem of unemployment. Their Mission is to work on empowering their community, especially those who have fewer opportunities to live a life of dignity - economically, socially, culturally and health-wise, and helping them to claim and obtain their human to ensure sustainable community development.
In order to address one of the biggest problems facing Egyptian youth, which is the unemployment problem, through some programmes and activities like:
- Human development for youth through improving their job skills by vocational training in many different skills.
- Raising efficiency through providing training on different computer programmes and English language and secretarial courses
- Raising the career awareness of the youth through awareness training and workshops.
- Providing suitable job opportunities for youth; also meeting the needs of the labour market by providing trained labour through the Foundation’s employment office.
