Swedish Embassy
Overview
The Swedish Embassy is an Embassy within the Government Offices with the address Arvfursten's palace at Gustav Adolfs torg in Stockholm. The Embassy, together with the Foreign Service, is responsible for handling Sweden's relations with other countries. Decisions concerning Sweden's foreign policy are prepared and coordinated. This applies to political issues as well as, for example, trade issues. It compiles information on conditions that are important for Sweden's foreign policy.Also formulates the action alternatives that form the basis for the Government's positions on foreign policy issues. The Foreign Service's tasks also include safeguarding the interests of individual Swedish citizens and organizations abroad.
