Jerusalem Legal Aid and Human Rights Center
Overview
Jerusalem Legal Aid and Human Rights Center (JLAC) provides legal services to Palestinian families and individuals suffering human rights abuses in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. JLAC stands to defend justice regardless of who the perpetrator is and what aspect of living a dignified life is being violated. As a result, the breadth of JLAC’s core programming spans to encompass several areas of intervention, holding multiple authorities accountable for their actions (e.g. the Israeli government in regards to Jerusalem, the Israeli Military as represented by the Civil Administration in regards to Area C of the West Bank, and the Palestinian Authority throughout the entirety of the West Bank).
