Fiftyfifty is a Lebanese NGO involving women and men , aiming at promoting gender equality in private and public sectors , focusing mainly on political decision-making positions.
Fiftyfifty Approach are:
- Identifying, empowering, and supporting women of expertise to reach public and political decision-making positions.
- Engaging men in supporting women to achieve gender equality.
- Creating & raising public awareness on gender quota & gender parity.
- Partnering with the media to highlight achievements of prominent women as equals to their male counterparts.
- Lobbying with politicians and different stakeholders to reform gender laws.
- Creating a continuous think-tank of experts dedicated to developing continuous strategies to achieve fiftyfifty goals.
