Tahaddi Lebanon

Overview

Tahaddi Lebanon, established in 2008, is a Lebanese non-governmental organization committed to empowering families facing extreme poverty by providing access to education, health, and psychosocial support services. Operating primarily in Hay el Gharbeh, an informal settlement in southern Beirut, Tahaddi serves vulnerable communities irrespective of nationality, religion, or social background. The organization runs the Tahaddi Education Center (TEC), offering non-formal education programs for children not enrolled in public schools, and the Tahaddi Health Center (THC), providing curative and preventive healthcare services along with psychosocial support. Tahaddi's holistic approach aims to foster social cohesion and uplift marginalized populations in Beirut.
