Offrejoie
Overview
Offre Joie (“Joy of Giving”) is a non-profit, non-confessional Lebanese humanitarian NGO founded in 1985 amid Lebanon’s civil war. It was born from the efforts of young Red Cross volunteers who sought to unite children from across religious and social divides through shared summer camps—promoting the values of love, respect, and forgiveness .
Operating primarily in Lebanon (and since 2012 in Iraq), Offre Joie’s mission is to heal sectarian divisions by fostering solidarity and citizenship among youth and communities. It orchestrates cross‑confessional summer camps, volunteer-driven workshops, interfaith prayer events, and extensive social outreach, including renovating schools, prisons, and neglected neighborhoods
