Overview
The Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria Onlus (ICU) is a non-profit organization since 1966, carries out development projects in countries with limited resources, its purpose is to promote self-development in the southern countries in which it operates. For this reason, the activities it implements always include a strong component of education and training of the civil population and local institutions. Therefore, capacity building , understood as the transfer of technology, methodology and know-how , is a permeating theme of the ICU strategy in relations with local partners. The technical assistance that the Institute provides through its projects is always aimed at improving local skills and operational capabilities.
