The Red Cross is the world's foremost disaster organization. We are on site before, during and after disasters to help vulnerable people in acute crisis and distress and to strengthen the resilience of societies and their resilience afterwards. The Swedish Red Cross is one of 191 national associations in a worldwide movement and our mission is to prevent and alleviate human suffering, protect life and health and ensure respect for the dignity of every human being in Sweden and internationally.
