The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organization established in 1946, dedicated to assisting people forced to flee due to conflict, persecution, and disasters. Headquartered in Oslo, Norway, NRC operates in over 40 countries, providing emergency aid, protecting displaced individuals, and supporting them in rebuilding their lives. NRC specializes in six core areas: food security, education, shelter, legal assistance, protection from violence, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). Through these sectors, NRC addresses both immediate humanitarian needs and long-term solutions for displaced populations.
