Palestinian Banking Institute
Overview
A non-profit organization established by the Palestinian Monetary Authority (PMA) in cooperation with the banking sector in Palestine in 1999 and based in Ramallah, its general body includes 14 members representing the PMA and banks operating in Palestine.
The institute aims to spread the financial and banking Sciences and to train, build and develop the capabilities of the banking and financial staff in Palestine
Since its inception, the institute has successfully trained around 28,000 banking and financial cadres through the implementation of 1,641 training programs (between short programs, professional certificates and diplomas) and enjoys the trust and patronage of the Palestinian Monetary Authority, all banks operating in Palestine and members of its general committee.
