Palestine Public Finance Institute (PPFI)
Overview
The PPFI was established in 2011 in cooperation between the Palestine Ministry of Finance (MoF) and the French government. The PPFI operates under the umbrella of MoF.
The PPFI's work aims to improve the competences of personnel in government departments, local governments, and academic institutions, as well as enhancing their performance, in order to meet their capacity-building demands. The PPFI also maintains with financial and tax innovations, incorporating them into training programs and contributing to administrative development. The PFFI is also concerned with promoting a common understanding of public finance matters and related economic concepts, as well as ensuring that top-notch approaches for public financial management continue to be developed. PFFI utilizes the most up-to-date international best practices in adult learning and continuing education, focusing on interactive and participatory approaches, as well exchange of experience.
