Overview

Beirut Arab University (BAU), located in the heart of Beirut, is a center of culture and enlightenment, was founded by the Lebanese Waqf El-Bir wal Ihsan Society in 1960. BAU has made an outstanding progress throughout the years by improving the student infrastructure, developing programs and curricula, enhancing the academic and administrative system, strengthening research and graduate programs, reinforcing partnerships and cooperation and improving services and facilities have been achieved.

The University is ranked 801–1000 in the QS World University Rankings, and 40 in Arab Region Rankings for 2022.
