Tunisian Association of Women Engineers and Scientists (ATFI)
Overview
The Tunisian Association of Women Engineers “ATFI” is the first scientific association in Tunisia dedicated to Women Engineers, it was founded in November 2015. Their objectives are:
- Promote exchanges between female engineers and student engineers from different specialties.
- Promote the engineering profession within schools.
- Combat stereotypes and show that engineering jobs can be exercised by both men and women.
- Encourage women engineers to build a social model by showing that they are capable of leading a life.
