Over 20 years of professional as an Environmental and Social Management Specialist in the Environment Sector including water and wastewater, protected areas management, tourism, social outreach awareness and training, socio-economic development, urban planning, road and transportation, renewable energy, solid waste management, and others.

Her experience covers Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP), Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS), Resettlement and Land Acquisition Plans (RAPs, &LAPs), Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP), Socio-economic development studies, and other.

Ms. Al Omari has diverse experience in undertaking such assessments and studies in accordance with Good International Industry Practice (GIIP) requirements including: IFC Performance Standards (PS), EBRD Performance Requirement (PR), KfW Sustainability Guidelines, World Bank (WB) Environmental and Social Standards (ESS) and other.

Ms. Al Omari has extensive experience in developing training and awareness programs at local, national, and regional events.

Sound experience in facilitating and moderating several focus groups, discussion groups, workshops, as well as training programs at local, national, and regional events on a Strategic and Municipal level.

Finally, she has regional E&S experience in Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, United Arab Emirates, and others.
