Overview
Humanity organization for civil activities is a local, non-profit, voluntary organization in Duhok, Iraq, was founded in 2014 by a group of students to serve the needs of the local community, and mobilizes a large number of volunteers to carry out assistance program. Their activities focused on doing civil activities and developing the society towards a civil, just society, and respecting the principle of human rights and the law. Humanity runs Community Centers which provide recreation, learning and psycho-social support opportunities for children and youth as well as it promotes access to education and healthcare for IDPs. Humanity is young, energetic organization with embedded community relationships and a strong volunteer culture.
