Palestinian Consultative Staff for Developing NGOs
Overview
The Palestinian Consultative Commission for the Development of Non-Governmental Institutions was established in May 2005. The Commission is an independent, non-governmental, civil institution that aims to develop and empower Palestinian society towards promoting democracy, social justice, sustainable development, and respect for human rights and law. The Authority provides its services without any discrimination on the basis of religion, gender or race. The Commission works as a platform for non-governmental organizations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and includes in its membership many grassroots civil organizations that work in several humanitarian, social and development fields.
