Overview
Since 2013 IECD Egypt has collaborated with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in different areas. Interventions in three public TVET schools (one ATS and two traditional vocational schools) are being implemented in the areas of market labour studies, curricula development, comprehensive ToT for teachers and staff, technical lab equipment, soft skills (Maharat), employability skills, gender awareness, environmental awareness, renewable energy, innovation labs, internships in private sector companies. Annually 1200 students benefit from our projects in Cairo and Alexandria. Additionally, IECD is also strong on economic empowerment. Our capacity building aims to improve the business skills of small project/business owners and to support people interested start their own businesses.
