Jordan Breast Cancer Program
Overview
Jordan Breast Cancer Program (JBCP) was established in 2007 as a national program working under the leadership of King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center (KHCF/KHCC) to coordinate and lead breast cancer early detection efforts across Jordan.
Early detection is Their mandate where the disease is more curable, survival rates are higher, and treatment costs are lower. To achieve that JPCP leads early detection in Jordan by ensuring the availability of quality early detection services, improving access to these services, raising public awareness and education about breast cancer, changing social behaviors, and creating enabling environment for adopting breast cancer control practices through advocacy, policy, and research.
