DOZ International
Overview
DOZ started from the roots of an emerging young civil society in war and conflict times. It was founded in 2011 in the form of university student groups in Syria. In year 2012 DOZ organized itself and was established as a nonprofit organization. In 2014, DOZ officially registered and established its HQ office in Germany. The HQ office was established for representation, coordination with donors, partners, and networks, and for providing technical support for our local teams, programs, and projects.
DOZ focus on humanitarian aid and development projects in Syria mainly focusing on most vulnerable groups such as children, women, and girls. They also focus on IDPs and local communities in need. Doz also supporting refugees in the camps in Iraq and also provide capacity building and support to local Iraqi civil societyز
