Carlos is an engineer with more than 5 years of experience in Sustainable Development and International Cooperation for organizations, governments and the private sector in 11 countries in America, the Middle East, Africa, East Asia, and Europe. He specializes in Environmental, Social, and Governance consulting, ESHS Management (ESIA, ESMF, ESMP, SEP), strategy and policy development, climate mitigation, monitoring, implementation, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building in several sectors such as Infrastructure, Transportation, Renewable Energies, Waste Management, Circular Economy, Industry, Tourism, and Nature Based Solutions. As he has worked on projects financed by the World Bank, IFC, UKEF, and UNDP, he has strong knowledge of the IFC PS, the World Bank EHS guidelines, and the Equator Principles. Eng. Carlos has worked in 5 ESIAs and ESMPs for infrastructure projects in Africa and the Middle East. He is certified Environmental and Social Framework of the World Bank by the WB Academy.
