Overview
GÖNÜL KÖPRÜSÜ (Köprü) is a non-profit organization formed by a passionate group of Turks and Syrians. We are dedicated to bridging understanding and fostering peace and prosperity between local and immigrant communities. Our base is in Şanlıurfa, a city with a significant Syrian immigrant population. They aim to address shared challenges, such as inadequate education, youth unemployment, gender inequality, religious conservatism, job loss, and social cohesion issues, through economic empowerment, particularly the creative economy. By utilizing arts and culture, we aspire to create a more inclusive society, promote sustainable growth, and showcase the rich cultural heritage of the region.
