Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA)

Overview

The Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA) is a Lebanese non-governmental, secular organization founded in 2003 by a group of social activists. Based in Saida, Lebanon, DPNA is committed to promoting sustainable development and empowering marginalized communities, including children, adolescents, youth, women, and individuals with special needs. The organization envisions a non-violent, democratic society where all individuals enjoy their rights and freedoms without discrimination. Its mission is to empower, mobilize, and enable citizens—especially those in rural, border, and impoverished areas—to create positive change through a human rights-based approach.
