Overview
The Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise is the largest employers' organisation in Norway and the leading business lobbyist. NHO was founded in 1989 as a merger of the Federation of Norwegian Industries, the Norwegian Employers' Confederation and the Federation of Norwegian Craftsmen.
NHO main objective is to create and sustain conditions that safeguard the competitiveness and profitability of business and industry in Norway, and thereby maintain the basis for a good standard of living, sound economic growth and sustainable development.
