Development professional with 20 years of experience in program Management and oversight, including projects’ identification, elaboration, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. 16 years of experience in climate change, sustainable energy, water governance and environment, and 11 years in disaster risk reduction experience, with gender equality, institutional analysis, and stakeholders’ management as cross-cutting thematic areas. Experience in dealing with government institutions, bilateral and multilateral donors, the private sector, and civil society organizations. Extensive experience in international development challenges and complex environments, including in conflict zones and middle-income countries. Proven track record of GEF (Global Environment Fund)-financed projects (climate change, coastal resilience, renewable energy, biodiversity, etc).

Proven knowledge of the Agenda 2030, the Paris Agreement, and the Sendai Framework with strategic planning skills in sustainable development. Sound experience in working in high level settings – was the focal point for UNDP in the emergency Response Preparedness task force to strengthen the UN response to the COVID-19 crisis, working on side events and participating to the conference of Parties on UNFCCC, as well as preparing keynotes for high-level meetings.
