✨ I'm an independent consultant with over 20 years of experience supporting international and local organizations in the international development and humanitarian sectors, across the Middle East and Africa.

✨ My core areas of practice are research, strategy and program/project design, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and learning - including OECD-DAC evaluations, learning reviews, proposal writing, gender-responsive M&E, and facilitation. I bring a strong interest in systems thinking, gender equality and social inclusion, and the use of evidence to support decision-making.

✨ A growing area of focus in my practice is inclusive economic development - including market systems development (MSD), youth employment, support to SMEs and social enterprises, and women's economic empowerment - where I'm growing my portfolio of assignments, while bringing a gender-responsive and evaluation lens to this work.

• I'm based in Lebanon, with on-the-ground access to the MENA region. I've conducted assignments in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT), Jordan, Morocco, The Gambia, Togo, and Cameroon.
• My work has spanned diverse sectors including humanitarian and recovery [(protection, cash and vouchers, water and sanitation (WaSH)], gender equality and women's rights, civil society and citizen engagement, localization, agriculture and agribusiness, health, and youth employment and entrepreneurship.
• In my consulting practice, I draw from a rich background that includes full-time roles at Oxfam (most recently as Deputy Country Director for Programs in Lebanon), UN Women, and the donor agency Global Affairs Canada (GAC, formerly the Canadian International Development Agency), where I supported Canada's bilateral programme to Jordan. My work has spanned assignments funded by a wide range of donors, including the EU, GAC, FCDO, AFD, SIDA, Danida, GFFO, RDPP, USDA, UN agencies, and the World Bank.
