Alliance to End Hunger

Overview

The Alliance to End Hunger is a nonprofit organization established in 2001, originally by Bread for the World. It unites a diverse coalition of over 90 members, including corporations, non-profits, faith-based organizations, and universities, all committed to ending hunger and malnutrition both domestically and internationally. The organization became independent in 2004 and continues to collaborate closely with Bread for the World.

The Alliance focuses on building partnerships and advocating for policies that address immediate hunger needs and tackle root causes. Its activities include coalition building, policy advancement, and organizing events like hunger summits. The organization works with various U.S. federal agencies and international bodies to foster political commitment and public will. With a dedicated board and staff, the Alliance aims to expand outreach and support programs that contribute to its mission of ending hunger. Donations are encouraged to help fund these initiatives
