Islamic Charitable Society
Overview
The Islamic Charitable Society in Nagaa El-Dar is a non-governmental, civil society organization registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs under No. 426 of 1993, dated September 18, 1993. It works in the following fields: family, childhood, and maternal care; social assistance and services; elderly care; cultural, scientific, and religious services; local community development; family planning and health services; environmental services and protection from pollution; economic services; facilitating Hajj and Umrah; organization and administration; friendship between the people of the Arab Republic of Egypt and friendly nations. Its scope of work is the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Society seeks to develop and advance the local community by providing various community services to the wider community, particularly to the most vulnerable and marginalized groups, in partnership with institutions, organizations, and other community stakeholders.
