The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity

Overview

The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF) is an independent international organization based in the UAE that promotes the values of peace, coexistence, and interfaith dialogue inspired by the Document on Human Fraternity signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar. It operates actively in the MENA region and globally, partnering with universities, religious institutions, and international organizations. The Committee implements flagship projects such as the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi and runs educational and training initiatives like the Leadership in Peaceful Coexistence program, the HELP youth framework, and global workshops on tolerance and citizenship. It also organizes events, youth summits, and cultural programs to foster dialogue among communities. Through the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, it provides a USD 1 million annual prize to individuals and organizations advancing peace and human dignity. Overall, HCHF combines symbolic projects, practical training, and international partnerships to spread a culture of fraternity worldwide.
