FXB Global
Overview
FXB Global (Fondation François-Xavier Bagnoud) is an international humanitarian organization founded in 1989 by Albina du Boisrouvray in memory of her son, François-Xavier Bagnoud, a helicopter pilot who died during a rescue mission. The organization is dedicated to fighting poverty and promoting human rights, with a strong focus on improving the lives of vulnerable children, families, and communities. FXB is best known for its FXBVillage model, a holistic, community-based development program that simultaneously addresses health, education, nutrition, housing, and income generation, aiming to lift families out of extreme poverty in a sustainable way. Over the years, FXB has worked in more than 20 countries, partnering with local actors to implement programs in areas such as HIV/AIDS care and prevention, economic empowerment, early childhood development, and community resilience. Its mission centers on building long-term solutions that restore dignity, self-sufficiency, and opportunity for marginalized populations.
