CNOS-FAP National Federation
Overview
The CNOS-FAP National Federation (Centro Nazionale Opere Salesiane – Formazione Aggiornamento Professionale) is an Italian non-profit association linked to the Salesian network, dedicated to vocational training, education, and professional development. Established to promote the Salesian tradition of empowering young people through practical skills and values-based education, CNOS-FAP manages and coordinates a wide network of Vocational Training Centres (CFPs) across Italy. Its mission is to equip young people, especially those at risk of social or economic exclusion, with technical, professional, and personal skills that prepare them for the labor market and active citizenship. The organization also fosters strong connections with industry partners, ensuring training paths are aligned with market needs, and engages in numerous European and international cooperation projects, extending its educational impact beyond Italy to Africa, the Mediterranean, and other regions. Through this integrated approach, CNOS-FAP combines education, work-based learning, and social inclusion to support youth employability and lifelong learning.
